2.  Save your good stuff until after 8p.m.

Facebook use is 17% less from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. This means when you have some really entertaining things to share, make sure you wait until after 8 p.m.

Companies that marketed 3 or more times a day had over 24% lower like rates and 40% lower comment rates. Putting it all together, they had a 30% less attention from their audience.

 

4. Keep it Short and Sweet

Companies that had fewer than 80 characters had over a 65% increase in engagement from their audience

Updates with “questions” doubled the amount of comments than the updates that didn’t have questions.

6. Learn how to Post sales

Using the phrase “$ off” and “coupon” got the highest rating for engagement. Post that used the phrase “Sale” and “% off” got the lowest. What does that tell you? Stop using the later.

7. Avoid Complicated Wall Post

Take a look at the chart, simple status updates received the most likes and comments from facebook fans. After that, the single photo seems to work the best. Posting albums, links, and etc seems to drop off very fast. Incorporate what you need into one photo, or one status.
